Apologies

First of all, let me apologise. After my last post on the 27th of Mar, I have 'disappeared' for quite awhile now. It has been slightly more then a month and now I'm back again. To update my small pool of followers, the month of April has been a hell of a hectic month. As previously mentioned, I was involved in a major event during the period. That was also part of the reason why I didn't blog during the whole month. The event was a major success. All the hard work that was put in was acknowledged and everyone came out of the event happy.

Enough about the event, now to get back to the topic proper. The theme of my blog remains unchanged. I will still post pictures and talk about them, as well as the 3 things in the day that made me smile. So, here it goes:

I'm seriously having trouble finding a picture to post. Think its about time I take out my DSLR and start shooting soon. Anyway, this is a picture of the bungalow that my loved one and I stayed in during our trip to Perth, Western Australia last year. The place was huge~. It has four bedrooms, a living room, a dining area and a kitchen. The best of all, the frontyard opens up to a golf course! Ideal for all golf lovers! But too bad I have not picked up that sports yet. Soon...

Now for the three things that made me smile today:

1. I completed a few things that I have wanted to do for a long time but just didn't had the time and motivation to do. Those things have been dragging on for way too long and I'm glad that I finally finished it today. Although it could have been done better, at least it was a start. Subsequently I think I will be working on it again to refine it towards greater heights.

2. The second thing that made me smile today was when I was writing this entry in my blog. It really have been quite awhile since I last blogged. While thinking and typing, I realised that the fun in blogging during my last postings was coming back to me. As I typed more, the feeling gets stronger and I guess that the 'adrenaline' that fueled me back then has finally found its way back and I intent to keep it going strong.

3. The third thing that made me smile today was my loved one. I was doing some photo editing for her when I 'rediscovered' some of the photos that I took of her quite some time ago. I stopped my work and went through the photos again, reminiscing the days spent together with her. I'm glad that I had her with me on my journey until now. Thank you my dear. I look forward to many more good years together ahead of us.

Ok, something extra to make up for the lost posts. Perhaps I'll talk about the 3 things that made me smile segment and why I included it in my blog. As mentioned previously, I 'copied' this concept from Class 95 Car Tunes. I find this segment very interesting as it allows you to reflect on yourself for the day, and think about all the events/things etc that have happened to you for the day. I always believed that no matter how bad your day was, think hard, there is bound to be at least 1 thing or 1 person that made you smiled. It is important to be happy so that life can be beautiful and meaningful. Everyone needs a smile, have you smiled today?

Thats all for this post. I will post again soon. Cheers ~

Pictures for 270311

Was doing some housework, therefore the lateness in blogging. Now that my parents are on a holiday trip, it is the time to tidy up the living room! Something that I have always wanted to do but unable to because if they were around, they would be nagging and stopping me from throwing away anything =p Enough said, here's picture number 1:

I guess I must be pretty hungry when I was selecting the pictures for this post. Anyway, this greenish/sick/disgusting/and whatever #$!^#$ you can think of color dish was what I had when I was holidaying in Korea in 2008. Some of you might wonder why did I actually ordered such a dish? Well, I was on tour and it was part of the tour package, so I didn't have much choice. Although it may look ugly, it was pretty tasty instead and for all those out there still guessing what was it actually, it was a bowl of abalone porridge.

Here's picture number 2:

This was what I had during the first night of free and easy of my Korea trip. This is much simpler to guess I think. Yes, it was sweet potato. We saw this uncle set up his shop by the road side while we were walking around. At first, we didn't know what he was selling until we came up close and he happened to open one of the 'drawers'. This was the way the uncle was keeping his sweet potato hot during the cold winter period. Athough the sweet potato wasn't exactly as tasty as it should be, but having a hot sweet potato in the middle of a cold cold winter night, definitely made it taste so much nicer =)

Now for the 3 things that made me smile today:

1. I brought breakfast for my loved one and had it together with her this morning. Although she wasn't in a very good mood because her sleep was disturbed by her god-nephew, she still greeted me with a smile when I reached her house. That alone will bring a smile to my face anytime.

2. The second thing that made me smile today was my shopping trip with my loved one and her god-nephew. We went to town after her work and we did some shopping along Orchard Road. She was looking for a work bag, but haven been able to find one after awhile. During the shopping trip, she was mentioning something about me able to buy the iPad because the price had dropped. I then made a teasing statement against my loved one and she took awhile to realised it. That made me smile because it was one of those very few moments that I actually outwit her!

3. The third thing that made me smile today was my spring cleaning session. As I was mentioning earlier, I was tidying up my living room dining table just now. Seeing it from a mountain of rubbish to a proper dining table sure puts a smile on my face.

Thats all for today. Hope everyone had a nice weekend. The next weekend is going come soon. Hang in there~

Cheers~

Picture for 260311

I was originally going to post what I have ate for dinner up today when I realised that I didn't bring the transfer cable for my camera today. So, I have decided to chose another food picture and here it is:

I took this picture while we were having lunch in Hong Kong during our trip in 2008. We passed by this Thai restaurant nearby our hotel and we went in to have our lunch. The food surprised us and it tasted wonderful! Although my loved one wasn't feeling too good that day, she still managed to finished it. This goes to show that how tasty it was. Back in Singapore, I have been to quite a few Thai restaurants but none of them have this dish. I only managed to find 1 store that sells it and it is located in Maxwell Market. Maybe someone can help me by telling me if you know of any stores that sells this delicious dish? Thank you in advance =)

For the 3 things that made me smile today:

1. My parents went on a holiday trip with my brother today to Ho Chin Min City. Being on duty, I wasn't able to send them off. However, my brother posted a picture of my dad smiling at the airport and tagged me. Seeing that they are going to enjoy themselves put a smile on my face.

2. The second thing that made me smile is a cat. There was this cat hanging around my workplace for quite awhile already. This morning when I was having my breakfast, I saw it walking up and down the corridor. I then took some milk from my fridge and poured some into a plate and put it on the corridor for the cat to drink. After I came out from the toilet, I saw the cat lapping the milk happily. What a sight =)

3. The third thing that made me smile today was my loved one. She had asked me to get breakfast for her tomorrow morning. I can't wait for my duty to finish to have breakfast with her. Wait awhile more for me ok my dear? Love you!

Thats about all, time to go disturb the rest of the duty personnels.

Cheers~

Pictures for 250311

Was late again today because I went out supper with my loved one. Here's picture number 1:

Oh my gosh, I didn't knew I was so 'wealthy' back then. This was taken during my first Hong Kong trip in 2008. My friend snapped this picture of me when we were shopping for stuffs on the last day of the trip. The reason why I chose this picture is because I just went to take my BMI this morning and I passed. So I was trying to see if there were any pictures of me in the past that I might possibly fail, and I found this. I don't think I failed back then either, because I don't have any recollection of me failing before, hahaha..

Here's picture number 2:

Another picture of me walking on the streets of Hong Kong. Ok, I'll share abit more about this trip with you guys. It was supposed to be an overseas trip of 3 guys and 3 girls. I got to know this bunch of friends through an online website and 1 of the girls that went with me was actually my primary school classmate. We were chatting online one day and they suggested that we go on a trip together. Many things happened and eventually, it became a 1 guy 3 girls overseas trip. Nothing to be proud or happy about, because nothing happened, just in case you guys start thinking otherwise. I'll probably share more the next time I talk about this trip.

Now, the 3 things that made me smile today:

1. The first thing that made me smile today was when I stepped into the office. Today is friday, and the whole company is clearing their off. Finally, there is a day where no one will disturb me and I can peacefully do my work. I finished quite a bit of work today, and submitted all my claims into the system for processing. Being able to achieve quite a bit of work today put a smile on my face.

2. The second thing that made me smile was my dad. He had originally wanted to take public transport to collect his air ticket for his upcoming trip and he had called me to go and have dinner on my own. I told him that I will have dinner with him and drive him to collect his ticket. I could see the smile on his face when I reached home and he was there waiting for me. Being able to make my dad's day surely put a smile on my face.

3. The third thing that made me smile was of course my loved one. Unlike usual days, she actually agreed to going with me to Bedok 85 market to eat the Bak Chor Mee over there. I have suggested to her quite a few times but she has always turned me down because she does not like dining outside. So when she said she would accompany me, that definitely put a smile on my face. Thank you my dear!

Thats all, time to hand over my lappy to my loved one.

Cheers~

Picture for 240311

It seems like I'm blogging over 0000 hrs more often recently and I think I know the reason why. I think I should try to improve the situation else I'm going to run out of pictures pretty soon. Here's picture 1:

This is a picture of the vegetarian meal that I had with my loved one during our trip to Hong Kong in 2008. We went over to Lantau Island on a pretty long cable car ride which took us about 45 minutes where there is this buddhist temple on this 'mountain' at the western part of Hong Kong. The sight on the mountain was breathtaking and we did a tour around the temple and the buddhist relic. We ended the tour with this meal in the temple. Although the food looks simple, it actually taste quite wonderful, and I guess this is the best vegetarian meal I have taken.

Here's picture number 2:

Similarly, this picture was taken on the same trip. We were visiting the wax museum on The Peak. It was pretty interesting at that place because that is one of the place where you can get up close to the celebrities without being pushed and shoved by the fanatic fans of theirs. As the wax figures are of 1:1 scale, you can see for yourself how tall or petite some of the celebrities actually are. Of course we had a great time at the museum, with us acting with the figures and posing like what I did in the picture. Does it look like the President of the United States giving a speech? Haha.

Now for the smile segment:

1. The first thing that made me smile today was that I finally had the chance to eat my honey stars that I bought a few days ago. I bought it and 2 bottles of milk to make it my breakfast. After I bought it, unfortunately I became busy all of a sudden for a few days, thus unable to take it as my breakfast. Today, I was able to sit down at my table and enjoy 2 bowls of honey stars for breakfast.

2. The second thing that made me smile today was my loved one. She had sent out her resume yesterday and she received a call from a company today, making an interview arrangement with her. She was so excited that she called me immediately and told me about it. She sounded so excited and went on and on about her encounter. Although I was busy at the moment, I put down my stuffs and listened to her. Her tone and excitement kinda made my day.

3. I was driving to school after work and was listening to Class 95 Car Tunes where they were talking about this Japanese hero whom they called the scuba man. This scuba man basically rescued his wife and mother during the tsunami by changing into his scuba suit and swimming to their houses and rescuing them. Take note, he swam during the tsunami! Its pretty interesting to hear this story on radio, as they described how he swam through floating cars and power cables etc.. His act shows that heroes do exists in our world. That brought a smile to my face.

That will be all for today.

Cheers~

Picture for 230311

I know its going to be over 0000 hrs by the time I finished blogging, so I uploaded 2 pictures upfront so I will not waste time to search for another one when the time runs out. Here's picture1:

Can you guess what this animal is? At first when I first saw it, I couldn't believe my eyes. It is actually such a small animal! We are looking at the Tasmania Devil. I guess we have all been misled by the cartoon version of the Taz Devil that we have all seen since young. As you can see from the picture, the actual animal is so much different from the cartoon. I had the opportunity to see this animal during my visit to Caversham Wildlife Park in Perth, Western Australia. Caversham is an open wildlife park where visitors get to see, touch and feel these animals up close, so different from the Singapore Zoo.

Here's picture 2:

Same, this picture was taken at the Caversham Wildlife Park. They have this open area where the kangeroos are able to roam freely and visitors are able to enter and have close contacts with the kangeroos. From the picture, the kangeroo is probably too shy to face the camera when this shot was taken. However, when it comes to feeding the kangeroos, the kangeroos suddenly will become very friendly and will keep hopping around you as long as you hold on to food. Talk about shyness!

Although today wasn't a very good day for me, but there were still available issues that made me smile:

1. I had gotten to camp slightly earlier today and was able to join my boys for a game of basketball. It has been awhile since I last played some sports with my boys as I had been busy for the past few weeks. That put a smile on my face.

2. I had a new lock installed. My dad and I bought this new electronic lock 2 weeks back while at the IT Show. Today, they came and did the installation and taught us how to use it. I could see from my dad's expression that he was so excited about the new 'toy', and I'm glad that hes happy. That brought a smile to my face as well.

3. The third thing that made me smile is my loved one. She actually volunteered to accompany me to Funan IT Mall to do some shopping. She isn't the type who likes to go shopping at the IT department, so it kinda surprised me when she offered to accompany me to go. Although we made a wasted trip, overall I'm still grateful that my loved one accompanied me despite her dislikes. Thank you my dear again!

That's all for today's post. My eyes closed a couple of times while blogging today. This shows that I need more sleep, so I'm heading to Lala Land.

Cheers~

Pictures for 220311

I wasn't able to blog before the dawn of the new day, so here are the two pictures. Here's picture number one:

Another simple dish that I whipped up for my loved one and her god nephew and niece. Broccoli with oyster mushrooms with oyster sauce. This is one of my best dishes and the feedback was that they liked it very much. Its actually quite simple to whip up this dish. However, the simpler the dish, the more skills required. I'm not saying that I'm a good cook, but I think I cook well enough to get through, I guess? Haha..

Of course, my dishes are not match for the below picture:

This was one of the dishes we ordered over at 'Pu Tien' restaurant the other time. Although its only a simple dish, spinach with century egg, the cooks are able to amazingly make it into such a tasty dish that we finished everything clean, short of licking the plate! I think I will take a few years before I will be able to master half of it, and start whipping out better dishes.

Now, for the 3 things that made me smile today:

1. Once again, I woke up to a wonderful morning today. Yes, it was raining again! As I have mentioned previously, I have always loved the rain. So, just by raining in the morning, brought a smile to my face.

2. I was involved in a TTX today, where a group of us sat down and went through day by day, what is going to happen daily for the upcoming exercise in 3 weeks time. I'm glad we had this as it clears alot of unknowns and misunderstanding along the way, thus making all of us clearer on the buildup to the exercise. As the exercise is an important one for my boys and myself, this clearing up session have given me more clarity and I'm more confident that my boys will be able to do well for this exercise. That brought a smile to my face as well.

3. The third thing that made me smile today was of course, my loved one. We were chatting over msn while I was blogging and she listed out the things she's going to do with my upcoming bonuses. I'm glad she isn't the type of materialistic girl and only thinks of getting herself things with my money, but rather the brainy one who will use my money for investments and secure our future. Although it might hurt now, but I understand that the pot of gold is at the end of the rainbow. Therefore, I'm glad someone is helping me to ensure that the pot of gold is still there. Thank you dear!

Thats all for today~ Need to go for a run tomorrow~

Cheers~

Picture for 210311

Here's the picture for the day:

This is a picture of my 'experiment' of fried rice. I was cooking for my loved one and her god nephew and niece when she told me that she wanted me to try cooking something new. So I decided to try making some fried rice with long beans and luncheon meat. It was my first attempt making this fried rice and I'm glad it turned out quite ok. At least it was finished to the last rice, thus I made the assumption that it tasted ok =p

Sometimes, I would like to try out new dishes. Luckily for me, there will always be a group of white mouses to try out my dishes. Not saying that my dishes tastes horrible, but rather, as a feedback channel for me to improve on my subsequent dishes, and my cooking skills. Although my ambition is not to be a house husband, but I do believe that if a man is able to cook, he would be able to accomplish many other things as cooking requires determination, skills and paying attention to the small details.

Here's the smile segment:

1. The first thing that made me smile today was my breakfast. My loved one had packed some bread for me last night for me to bring to work today. I thought it only contained one bread, but when I opened the plastic bag this morning, I found, together with that one bread, was another bag of mini breads, which is my loved one's favourite. She had given her favourites for me to eat at work. That brought a smile to my face.

2. I was in a briefing session this morning when my boss announced the amount of bonus that we will be getting this year due to Singapore's good economy in the year 2010. That of course brought another smile to my face.

3. The third thing that made me smile was when I was driving my loved one back. We sort of had a minor arguement about the amount of money I should spent for the upcoming cohesion for my company. Although it was an arguement, but deep inside I knew that my loved one was only trying to save more money for our future, and she does take our future seriously. Thank you my dear!

Thats all~

Cheers~

Pictures for 200311

Was supposed to blogged earlier, but the lappy was busy with resizing pictures and downloading apps updates. Things were moving kinda slow, perhaps its a hint that I should change my lappy soon. This lappy have been with me for the past 8 years. I think most of my friends would be saying that I'm crazy and should just go ahead and change it. But then again, this lappy had served me well and, well, there's no need to change it yet because its still working perfectly fine, less a few glitches here and there. It is more of a want than a need, so I guess it will have to wait.

Anyway, here's the pictures for the day:

This was a meal that I cooked up for my loved one during one of the days. Although it was a simple meal, just some toufu, chicken, pork belly and fried rice, it took me quite a while to get it done. Of course, it wasn't restaurant standard, I think its not even hawker centre standard, but at least it was a meal from the heart. Haha. Although my loved one always finish the food, I hope that she didn't do it because she had to, but instead, finished it because it was nice =p

Here's the second picture for passing the 0000 hrs:

Can you make out what is this picture? Yup, it is none other than The Bob Dog! My loved one drew this while I was painting my room the other day. She wanted to help me paint my room initially, but I think she didn't knew it was so tiring. She gave up after painting 2 walls of my 2 rooms, leaving me to finish up the rest. Although she didn't paint much, she tried to entertain me by drawing her 'favourite' character on the walls that I was going to paint to cheer me on. Thanks my dear!

Here's the 3 things that made me smile today;

1. The first thing that made me smile today was that my loved one accompanied my dad and I to breakfast! She would usually be working on Sundays and rarely enjoys her Sunday off once every month. Most of the time she would be getting her beauty sleep on her Sunday off, but today, she volunteered to go breakfast with us. That definitely brought a smile to my face.

2. I was out shopping with my loved one today. We went to quite a few places. At first I was quite worried because she wasn't the type that would walk alot and that she hated the hot weather. But today, we went from Marina Square to Suntec, back to Marina Square and down to Marina Bay Sands and then back again to Marina Square, and she didn't complained! That again, brought another smile to my face!

3. The third thing that made me smile was my dinner with my loved one. We came back to Marina Square and was thinking of which restaurant to have our dinner when I suggested we try out this chinese restaurant called 'Pu Tien'. It was quite a famous restaurant and I have been wanting to try it. So we went ahead and ordered a fish, vegetables and pork belly(I will upload the pictures next time). The meal turned out to be as good as I expected, and my loved one and I had a great dinner. How did I know my loved one enjoyed the meal? Simple, she finished her bowl of rice! Hahaha..

That's all for today, back to work tomorrow~

Cheers~

Picture for 190311

Here we go, picture for today:

This picture was taken during my trip to Ipoh somwhere in late 2010. I was invited to be my buddy's 'brother' for his marriage over there. This was the food that greeted us after a long 7 hours of bus ride from Singapore to Ipoh. We reached there aroud 4am in the morning. After a short walk to the bride's house, we were brought out here to have breakfast at around 5am. What an early breakfast indeed! Although it was very early, the trip to this restaurant was definitely worth it. The food was great and we enjoyed it very much.

Now for the '3 things that made me smile segment':

1. I was on the way back after driving my loved one to work when I stopped at this traffic light. I saw two kids crossing the road with their hands in the air. It reminded me of my primary school days where we were taught to raise our hands while crossing the road so as to alert the drivers. It sure brought back quite a bit of memories and that definitely brought a smile to my face.

2. I had lunch with my dad. He was working somewhere in the vicinity and he came back to our marketplace to packet food for his fellow workers. I met up with him at the market and we had a quick lunch. Although I already had my brunch earlier on at my mum's stall at another coffeeshop, I accompanied him for his lunch. I can tell from his expression that he enjoyed my company and I'm happy that I was able to do something for him. That put a smile on my face.

3. The third thing that made me smile was that I was able to have some home cooked food today. I have always loved home cooked meals, but since my mum started working, I didn't have much chance to taste them. My loved one's god-sister had went over to her mum's side and brought back some food for us. She has always been doing that previously for my loved one on Saturdays and I'm glad that she didn't mind taking slightly more for me as well.

Thats all for today, just before the clock strikes 12.

Cheers~

Picture for 180311

Apologises that I was supposed to post this picture yesterday but I didn't. So here it is:

A picture of me wind-sailing. As mentioned previously, this was one of the activities that the resort provided its guests. It was pretty fun as it was the first time I tried this. It was very easy to control the speed and steering of the 'vehicle' itself. All you need to do is to tighten the string to go faster and loosen it to slow down. It works on the sea breeze to get it going. If you break frequently, this thing will actually be quite slow, but if you maintain the high speed, after awhile the cart will actually go faster and faster. Its pretty exciting when you try to do a high speed turn on this thing. You have to try it yourself to experience it.

As for the next segment:

1. The first thing that made me smile today was the sight of my three bosses sitting at the canteen when I reached my workplace. This meant that everyone is in the 'ending' mood, thus meaning that we will not be working too hard today, and that my guys will be able to pack up and head back early. Indeed, that was the case, and after one week of hectic training, I was finally able to release my boys on time for them to enjoy their weekend.

2. The second thing that made me smile today was that I was helping my boys packing up the place before they head back to camp. It has been quite awhile since I last got my hands dirty to do all the manual work. My boys were pretty appreciative of me helping them and we shared quite abit of stories before the store vehicle was here to bring everything back. It was quite a good bonding session with them and I hope to have more of these sessions before we part ways in June 2011.

3. The third thing that made me smile was a kiss from my loved one. She was feeding me some egg mayo bread while I was blogging. After my bite, she kissed me on the lips, despite me having some bread crumbs and mayo on my lips. That certainly brought a smile to my face.

Thats all for today, time for me to finish up the bowl of noodles~

Cheers~

Pictures for 170311

Picture for today:

This is a picture of our christmas log cake for 2010, an ice cream cake from Swensons. It was served at the end of the day after a fun filled day at my loved one's place. We had steamboat, as usual, and we had lotsa fun playing with Jenga, Monopoly Deal and of course, my latest gadget for the year, my Xbox Kinect. The kids were having so much fun with the motion tracking games and they played for almost the whole evening.

Well, I was originally able to finish my post before the clock strikes 12, but due to some unforseen circumstances, I was delayed in writing up my posts. So, now that its past 0000 hrs, here is my second picture:

These are the gifts the kids received on the day, courtesy of my loved one's 'pet'. She took the effort to had these custom made gifts for the kids and us. It is pretty unique and the kids liked it very much. It was also the first time I received a gift for christmas beside from my loved one. The feeling of receiving something for christmas is indeed good. Thank you!

Ok, the things that made me smile for today:

1. I was discussing about some work today with my subordinates over breakfast this morning. Somewhere during the discussion, we talked about the money management and we all brought up how our money was used. Upon hearing how my surbordinates spent their money, I realised that I'm glad to have my loved one managed my finances for me so that we will have a better future.

2. The second thing that made me smile today was that I had some time to study for my quiz today, despite the hectic week that we were going through. Luckily for me, things are more or less settled and network have stablised. Also, the exercise play have moved on to other people being the focus, in a way, leaving us nothing much to do, resulting in a less tense working environment.

3. The third thing that made me smile was my loved one. I was teaching her how to drive and she picked up from me pretty fast. She can now do movement forwards and backwards. A huge improvement from the last time she left off. I look forward to the day she will be able to take the wheel and then I can take a break in the passenger seat. =)

I think I closed my eyes a couple of time posting this. Waking up early and doing late nights is finally taking a toil on myelf. I will rest more.

Cheers~

Picture for 160311

I'm blogging early today again. It has been a hectic week and I think today is the only day which I managed to came home slightly earlier. So I decided to blog first in case I couldn't make it back in time later tonight after fetching my loved one from work. Here's today's picture:

This was a picture of the TV screen of the resort I went to earlier this year at Sepang Gold Coast, Malaysia. They have customised interactive menus for their TVs in the resorts. I liked the way they do this as this makes the guests feel more at home. The trip was a relaxing trip, and we did managed to meet our objective for this trip, that is to rest more and rejuvenate. Athough there might not be alot of activities to do over there, but they do have some special activities like wind-sailing, stand-up canoe, aqua aerobics and many more. I'll post a picture of me wind-sailing in my next post.

As for the 3 things segment:

1. There was a heavy downpour during our exercise this afternoon. For the past few days, the tension was heavy due to the intensity of work to be done for this exercise. However, because of the downpour, our shelter leaked at multiple places and everyone was rushing around trying to solve the leaking issue. It was a comical scene and everyone was laughing and joking around, probably to release some stress. It was a good break, and that surely put a smile on my face.

2. Also, because of the leaking issue, the exercise had to come to a halt. With no other choice, my boss decided that everyone had worked hard for the past 2 days. Thus, he made the decision to end work early today so that everyone of us can head home earlier to spend some quality time with our loved ones. That again, put a smile on my face.

3. Lastly, although it have not happened yet, I know for sure that I will be smiling when I pick up my loved one from her workplace later. My loved one never failed to make me smile, anytime, anywhere. Just seeing her will brighten up my day! Thank you my dear again!

Gotta go bath and head out soon, before I'm late~

Cheers~

Picture for 150311

I realised that I'm getting faster in chosing the pictures for my daily posts. Here's the picture for today:

This picture was taken during one of my sporting events in the year 2010. I took part in the first ever event organised by Men's Health Magazine called the Urbanathlon. It involves a 10km run along a scenic route in town, coupled by few obstacles along the way for the participants to clear. It was the first of its kind in Singapore and I'm glad that I took part in it. It was tiring, yet fun. The only set back of this run was the cost. The registration fee was 125 bucks. But, having gone through the event and looking at the goodie bag, I guess the price was worth it.

I looked forward to this event in 2011. When it was announced, I wanted to sign up for it. However, due to budget constraints, I have no choice but to 'bird' my buddy. The route for 2011 was longer at 12km and there were more obstacles. I kinda felt sad that I wasn't able to participate. Let's hope I will be able to participate in the next year's event.

Once again, the 3 things that made me smile segment:

1. The first thing that made me smile today was when I was on my way to work. Usually, the traffic would be heavy along the road I take, but today was exceptionally smooth. I took less than 30 minutes to reach my workplace for this week, when I would normally take aroud 45 minutes. That gave me some time to grab some snacks before the hectic day started.

2. The second thing that made me smile was during a small meeting after lunch. We sat down and sorted out quite a bit of work for the upcoming exercise tomorrow. It was good to have such sessions as there were many components that needed everyone's participation to make things happen. After the meeting, everyone was pretty sure and confident of the deliverables for the exercise tomorrow.

3. The third thing, or I should say, person, that made me smile is my loved one. I went to pick her up after her meeting with her 'pet' in town. She had a half day at work and went out for some catching up after that. Back home, while I was typing this entry, she thanked me and gave me a peck on my cheek. Although its my obligation to fetch her, it is good to know that she appreciates my efforts. Thank you too my dear!

Thats about all for today. Tomorrow is going to be pretty tiring, so I'll be going to Lalaland soon.

Cheers~

Pictures for 140311

I had originally wanted to quickly chose a picture and blog before the time is up. But then again, I think about it and realised that it would do injustice to my readers. Therefore, I took my time in chosing the pictures for today's post. Here is picture number 1:

This was taken during one of the training trips I went on. I was part of an evaluation team to evaluate this particular unit on its overseas training in Taiwan. As evaluators, in between the missions, we would have breaks where we could return back to camp to rest as the unit plans its next movement. During one of the break time, I took this picture as I thought the clouds looked pretty scary. I didn't realised that I took something else in the sky too! It was during the post editing that I saw it. Can you spot it?

Here's picture number 2:

This was the roasted meat store that I went in Hong Kong during my trip there with my friends. Roast meat was one of the 'must tries' in Hong Kong. There are many shops like this in Hong Kong, but we were lucky enough because one of my friends had some ex-colleagues working in Hong Kong. They brought us to one of the most famous store in Hong Kong, and because it was a weekday, there wasn't much of a queue! It was really delicious and I still remember vividly the taste of the meat in my mouth. I wished I could try it again!

Unfortunately, during my second trip there with my loved one, we didn't managed to get it due to some unforseen circumstances. Nevertheless, I'm glad that I have tried it before. Till date, I have not found a Singapore store that sells anything close to what I have tasted in that store in Hong Kong. Hopefully, one day, I will be able to find one in Singapore that is up to that mark.

Ok. The 3 things that made me smile segement:

1. The first thing that made me smile today was that I finally had the chance to go back to office to clear my emails. I haven been back in office for the past 3 weeks due to exercise preparing and event co-ordinations, thus resulting in a huge backlog of emails over the period. I had to come back to camp for a dialogue session, so I took the chance to clear my emails after the session. Seeing my inbox drop from 300+ emails to 'No new emails' definitely brought a smile to my face.

2. The second thing that made me smile was when I was on the way to pick up my loved one from work, I overheared this news on the radio. There was this song by one of the current American Idol contestant, which had a very meaningful story to it. He wrote this song for his wife, whom got involved in an accident 2 weeks before they were supposed to get married and suffered permanent brain damage. Despite that, he went ahead and married her and took care of her since then. It has been two years already. Now, that is some true love! That brought a smile to my face too.

3. The third thing that made me smile will definitely be from my loved one. We went for dinner/supper after I picked her up at Casurina Prata Restaurant at Thompson area. It has been awhile since we last went there. We had an enjoyable meal below 10 bucks. It has also been awhile since the two of us went for a romantic meal and spend some quality time together. It was a nice meal date and we both enjoyed the meal and the time together. Thank you for spending time with me dear =)

Thats all for today. Good nights~

Cheers~

Pictures for 130311

Apologies again for the late posting. Been busy with assignment and just submitted it online. Here are the pictures for today:

This was taken at Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse in Augusta, Australia. It is the southern most point Australia, and it is also the place where you can see the 2 oceans, the Southern Ocean and the Indian Ocean, meet each other. We were introduced to this place by our local mate when we went on our roadtrip. I cannot think of how to describe the scenary in words, you have to see it for yourself. But one thing is for sure, I will not hesitate to visit this place again and again. Also, over at there, the wind is so strong that you can so funny stunts like what we were doing above. It was really fun!

Second picture:

This second picture was taken at The Gap. If I remember correctly, it is located at Albany, Australia. Basically, it is a place where the rocks formed a gap and the ocean waters will rush in and raise up to 25 metres tall! There was also a bridge formed by the rocks. As to how it was formed, no one knows. This picture was taken swiftly by my buddy as the rain was approaching. See carefully in the rear. This good shot was taken at the expense of exposing his newly bought DSLR to the rain. Thanks bro!

Now to the 3 things that made me smile segment again:

1. I was at the IT Show today. Being there surely brings a smile to my face as I was known to be a tech geek previously. I have always loved gadgets, but due to certain committments, I guess I will have to let go of my cravings for the time being.

2. I brought my loved one and her god nephew and niece to my void deck for some roller blading. Her god nephew wanted to try blading, so I taught him. He learned fast. Seeing that, I guessed my loved one couldn't take it and wanted to try again. I had previously tried to teach her but she didn't complete the learning. I'm glad she is willing to take it up again, as this means I can look forward to going blading with her in the near future. That brought a smile to me face.

3. The third thing that made me smile today was again my loved one. I had originally didn't wanted to blog today because I was pretty tired. But then she encouraged me to blog (partly is because she wanted to read what I was going to write, and of course she didn't wanted me to give up so easily). This made me smile because I know, no matter how bad my writing was, at the end of the day, there will always be this loyal reader, who is none other than my lovely darling. Muacks.

That's all for today.

Cheers~

Pictures for 120311

To continue to story:

This was taken on the day when I was commissioned as an officer of the Singapore Armed Forces. I cannot remember the exact date off hand, but that ceremony was somewhere in the month of July. It was after a grilling 9 months of hard training that I emerged stronger as a person, as well as a leader. My parents were watching me during the parade and they were the ones to put on my rank for me. I know they are very proud of me and what I have achieved through the years. They have always been there to support me. Thank you my parents!

Here's the second picture for missing the timeline:

For those who can identify it, this is a plate of buffalo wings from Sunset Grill. Some of you might wonder, what's so special about the wings over there? Well, the wings there are known for their spicyness. There is a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the most spicy. And if you think 10 is not enough for you, there is a madness scale of 30. For those people who try and finish the plate of level 30 buffalo wings, your name will go on the 'Hall of Fame' board in the restaurant. Pretty interesting! I myself can take spicyness pretty well, but it was only after my visit to Sunset Grill did I know I wasn't so good at all. The wings in the picture is only level 4, and I had to glup down 1 cup of ice water for each wing. Imagine that!

Ok, now for the new segment. Here's 3 things that made me smile today:

1. I went to my mum's store for breakfast today after dropping my loved one at work. After the meal, I went to the multi-storey carpark to get my car. Seeing the cars beside mine being issued with a summon ticket and not my car definitely put a smile on my face.

2. I had just recovered from my illness and still wasn't feeling too good today so I took a nap when I came home. It was a good rest and I woke up feeling much better. That of course put a smile on my face too.

3. The third thing that made me smile was that I finished my maths assignment. It was a tough assignment and I had some difficulty in finishing it. Luckily, I had some 'guidance' from a friend and I managed to finished it today so that I can go and enjoy myself with my loved one tomorrow.

Thats all for today. More to come~

Cheers~

Picture for 110311

Here's the picture for today:

I cannot remember the exact date of this picture. I only can remember it was somewhere in 2002(I think). This was the day where I became a man from a boy. They always say that you are not a man if you have not gone through National Service. Just in case some of you might not know, going through National Service (Army) in Singapore is compulsory. Singapore is a conscript army, and I think it is good that it is this way.

Look at my dad's face. I think he's proud of me. Although I see him smile almost everyday, I still think that some of the photos that he had taken with me have his best smile. The kind of smile that shows you are proud of something. I have been a naughty boy since young, making him flared up on some occasions. I guess this signifies that I have grown up and he does not have to worry so much about me, and he is pretty happy about it ;p

As for the 3 things that made me smile today:

1. I went to camp early in the morning today for a short discussion to update the progress of my guys preparing for the upcoming exercise next week. When all have updated their status, I realised that my side was actually the first, despite so many 'accidents' along the way. The exercise is next week and today is Friday, of course I smiled.

2. I have a quiz today. Through the week I was busy with work, running from Pan Pacific Hotel to my camp and other camps for co-ordinating and stuffs and that resulted in me not studying for the quiz. I was pretty nervous when I sat in for the quiz. During the paper seriously, I didn't know what I was writing. Luckily, after the quiz, I did a check against my notes and actually realised that at least half of my answers were correct. That again, made me smile.

3. The third thing that made me smile today was of course my loved one. I was feeling under the weather today with a fever, cough and a headache. She gave me a head and neck massage and I immediately felt much better. I was thinking of not blogging today actually, since I do not feel too good, but the massage was so good that I'm able to blog now. Thanks my dear! =)

Stay on for the next post~

Cheers~

Picture for 100311

Picture for the day:

Feeling hungry? Well, I am. I cannot remember when this picture was taken. I found it while going through some pictures that were taken by my loved one's handphone. Looks yummy right? Well, these drumlets from Pizza Hut has always been on my favourite list. It always taste good! I think Pizza Hut could have drugged them using some special kind of flavouring so that customers always come back for it. Unfortunately, I'm one of them. Speaking of which, I have not bought their drumlets for quite awhile. Perhaps I'll get some over the weekend!

Now for the 3 things that made me smile segment:

1. I was at Pan Pacific Hotel this morning at 0830 hours for a meeting on some equipment issues with our USA counterparts. I was damn hungry because I skipped breakfast to avoid being late for the meeting. I was wondering how long I was going to suffer when I saw the hotel staff bring in the morning snacks. That made me smile!

2. The IT show opened today. All of us wanted to go so as to see if we can grab anything good on the first day. My boss seemed to sensed this(I think he wanted to go as well) and he enforced that the meeting for the day ended at 1600 hours. He ended the day's meeting with 'Let's enjoy at the IT Show!' That sure brought a smile to me.

3. The third thing that made me smile today when I picked up my loved one on the way home. As usual, being herself and acting silly to entertain me really make me laugh my heart out. And that definitely brought a smile to my face. In fact, it brings many many smiles to my face =) Thank you my dear! Love you!

Thats all for today. Keep returning~

Cheers~

Picture for 090311

Picture for the day:

This was taken when I was holidaying in Korea. We were at this kimchi school to learn how to make kimchis during the last few days of the trip. Its pretty interesting to self make the food that we had almost everyday when in Korea. Although its pretty messy(you can look at the color of the plastic bag that I'm holding), I'm proud to present Rai's Kimchi. The school also provides traditional Korea costumes for people to dress up to take pictures. I think I'll post them next time. They also sell kimchi in the school, which we bought 3 boxes and had them brought back to Singapore.

I guess some of you might be interested to know what happened to the small little pack of Rai's kimchi. Well, I didn't eat it, neither did I throw it away. Actually, I forgot what happened to it. Hahaha..

Ok, now for the 3 things that made me smile today:

1. My dad woke me up this morning. The moment I opened my eyes I saw him grinning from ear to ear. I knew why. He had finally gotten his long awaited new handphone after some time. He was waiting for me to help him configure his new phone. Its always good to see your dad so happy. That brought me the first smile for the day.

2. I had quite a bad day at work. But after work I went for a run with my loved one and her god niece and god nephew. Her god nephew does not have much self confidence and always thinks that he cannot do better. I managed to pushed him to acheive beyond himself during the run today. Seeing him feeling so happy, it brought a smile to me.

3. The third thing that made me smile today was an sms about 30 minutes ago. After many days of testing of some upcoming equipment, it hasn't been very successful. However, just, an sms from my colleague came, telling me that they have finally got the thing working. I felt so relieved because things can be back on track again. Kudos to those that worked hard to make it happen! Thanks.

That's all for now. Stay tuned...

Cheers~

Picture of 080311

Picture for today:

This was taken during my family trip to Korea in 2008. It was taken when we went to the ski resort towards the end of the trip. It was my first time learning how to ski. It was really fun and we had an enjoyable time. I was quite proud of myself, that I actually become quite good after awhile. It has always been the case, since I pick things up rather quickly, more so when it comes to sports. The only bad thing about this ski activity was that we had to manually move up to the top of the slope then we can slide all the way down. The journey down was about 30 seconds while the journey up takes about 2 minutes. What a tradeoff.

Recently, I have been toying of the idea of adding more things to my blog. It has been awhile since I started the concept of 'A Picture A Day'. I'm actually quite surprised that I kept up to my word. Although I have been blogging everyday, there has still been complains that my post is either not long enough or not interesting enough. So, in order to increase the viewership of my blog, I have decided to come up with something new.

This was inspired by Class 95's 5pm show, CarTunes by Jean Danker. In her show, she has this '3 Things that made me smile' segment where they will talk about the things that made her day. I found this very interesting, therefore, I will try to incorporate this concept to my blog as well. For a start, below are the 3 things that made me smile today:

1. I woke up today and saw that it was drizzling. I smiled. I have always liked the rain, and seeing it first thing in the morning really made my day.

2. The 2nd thing that made me smile today was when I was having lunch with some new working partners. There is this event that is going to happen in end july which we are co-ordinating. They made my day when they said I looked young. Hahaha..

3. I had the time to have dinner with my loved one. It has been a tiring day at work for me, running to many places. But the moment I saw my loved one at her workplace, I felt less tired already. She further made my day when she greeted me with her smile, although she didn't like to very much due to her braces. That definitely made me smile! =)

Ok, before the clock strikes 12 midnight again, I shall end here. I hope this new initiative to my blog will continue to entertain my readers. Stay tuned to for my future posts~

Cheers~

Picture for 070311

Its been a tiring day for me, but I insisted that I blog before going to bed. Thus, you will find this post rather short as the ZzZz monster is gaining the upper hand on me. Picture for the day:

This was taken during my first overseas trip with my loved on to Genting. It was the day after her last paper in her university days that we embarked on this trip. First, to reward her after her hard work. Second, to mark the 'officialness' of our togetherness. Before the journey, we were both pretty worried because she had motion sickness and the bus trip is going to take around 7 hours. We went on to buy motion sickness preventive measures like pills and acupuncture accessory. Luckily, she felt ok throughout the journey, probably due to her happiness for completing her exams.

We were snapping lots of pictures during our short 3D2N stay over there. There was one particular picture I liked alot, but it was taken by the camera installed for one of the rides. Next time I will scan and upload it, IF she permits..hehe..Anyway, this picture was taken by her of me during our ride in the merry-go-round. I remember we took this ride to relax ourself after one of the scary rides. Also, it looks kinda romantic to be sitting together on a merry-go-round, as always depicted in movies and tv shows.

Here's the next picture because I blogged after 12 midnight:

Look carefully on my hand. Can you guess which animal's young is that? It is the young of an eagle! As much as my love for dogs, I have always liked eagles as well. They are the king of birds, and I liked the way they spread their wings and soar in the sky. Its a magnificent sight! They roamed the skies freely, domineering over all those on the ground. What a wonderful bird!

If possible, I would like to keep one as a pet as well. Imagine the awe that you have if you have an eagle as a pet. One loud whistle and your big bird flies down from the sky and sits on your shoulder. Cool! But then again, the eagle is considered an exotic pet in Singapore, and there is no way that you can own one. Well, it doesn't hurt to think about it, right?

Well, thats all for today. I'm gradually losing to the ZzZz monster. Till next time.

Cheers~

Picture for 060311

I'm blogging early today again. My loved one decided to read her book on our country's hero, Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew, so I have the lappy to myself =) Here's the picture for the day:

For some reason, I particularly like this picture. This was taken during my Perth trip in 2010 when I visited my local mate over there with my loved one. Although I've seen pictures of his dog from online, this is the first time I came face to face with it. Its name is Winter, and its of the malamute breed.

I have always like dogs. I think they are smart, friendly and loyal. And I have always wanted to rear one. But due to certain constraints, I could not and I guess I never will be able to. I used to think and imagine what would it be to have a dog at home waiting for you to be home to play with it. I also imagined what it would be like to bring your dog for a run together during the weekends morning. It would sure be fun!

Why did I decided to blog about this? I mentioned that I went for a run recently. During the run at East Coast Park, I saw a lot of dog owners with their dogs in that area. Turns out that there was a dog event over there. Seeing the owners playing with their dogs was a heartwarming scene, but somehow, I can't help but feel slightly envious of them. If only I could be like them and own a dog, then we could have joined in the fun.

But then again, I know and understand the reason for not being able to rear a dog. If I cannot even substain myself, how can I afford to raise a dog? Raising a dog is a lifelong committment, and one should not get a dog on impulse. It has to be done after careful and lengthy considerations before making the decision, else the poor animal is the one that is going to suffer in the end. Lastly, most importantly, no one and nothing can share my love for my loved one. =)

Every once in a while, I would daydream about owning a dog. But the thought will stop there.

Cheers~

Picture for 050311

I am blogging slightly earlier today. Why is that so? I'm still not feeling too well, just in case I doze off to Lalaland later, and since I have access to my lappy, so I will blog first =) Heres the picture for today:

Why did I chose this picture? Its been awhile since I last attended a running event. This was taken during my participation in the 2009 Standard Chartered Marathon. It was pretty interesting why I signed up for the event. I was supposed to sign up the 42km marathon together with a buddy of mine. We have talked about it for quite awhile. However, due to some unforseen situations, I missed the registration 3 years consecutive. My buddy almost killed me for leaving him to take on the event alone. So in 2009, I decided that I will make the effort to sign up early.

After I signed up for the event, the worst news hit me. My friend had decided to participate in the 10km run instead of the full marathon. But then again, he had a valid reason. The last 2 full marathons had injured his knee cap, so I had to give it to him. 42km was no small joke. Many a times I had wanted to train up for it. But as usual, my laziness got the better of me, coupled with heavy work committment, resulted in me not training for the event. I regretted.

I still remember that 'fateful' morning, my buddy still sms-ed me before the run to wish me good luck. I told him thanks and I went on to 'enjoy' my run. I still remembered at the 32km mark, I suffered cramps in both my legs. At that point in time, I was cursing and swearing and asking myself why did I sign up to torture myself. But then again, I told myself that it was a test of my mental and determination, thus I pressed on.

It was no small feat indeed. As I came into the finishing point, I felt a great sense of achievement. I made it! And I was so happy to be back as my loved one was waiting for me there. She had taken part in the 10km run with her 'pet' as well. Tired as I am, when I saw her, it all makes it less tiring. Thank you my dear..

Ok, why did I bring up all this? I went for a run today at East Coast Park. It has been quite awhile since I last ran. My fitness had indeed dropped. I took 50mins to complete a 7km run, which I used to be able to do it in 40mins. I guess I need to train up my fitness again. Also, 1st of April is reaching as well. =p

Cheers~

Pictures for 020311, 030311 and 040311

Once again, I have to apologise for the non posting for the past 3 days. I was sick 3 days ago, worked till 2am yesterday and came home late today. It has been a hectic week, being involved in some hardcore planning for some upcoming event. But the result is rewarding. I learnt alot during the process and I look forward to applying what I have learnt in my future planning process. Ok, here are the pictures:

Picture for 020311:

This is a vibration workout machine that my dad bought few years back. He was pretty interested in it and said it would make him workout more at home. Although it has been pretty much used when it was bought, it became an 'ornament' shortly due to the increasing workload of my dad. Most of the time he came home pretty tired, therefore, not really using it to workout anymore. Once in a while I will still step on this machine to make sure it is still working, if not, it will really become just an ornament.

Picture for 020311:

This was taken during the 2008 Big Walk organised by The New Paper. Come to think of it, my loved one and I was, in a way, 'sabotaged' to go for this walk. It was originally supposed to be a company event for my loved one, but unexpectedly, no one turned up. Probably it was because it was too early for them (they were of a certain age you see ;p). Nevertheless, it was indeed a fruitful experience for me and my loved one, although the route wasn't very fun. Thinking back, this was also the first sporting event that we have participated together. Indeed, it was a good one.

Picture for 030311:

This was taken during the christmas gathering at my loved one's place in 2009. This is one of my favourite game to play because I'm pretty good at it. Usually when we play, my loved one's god niece and I will team up to make the person after us have a difficult time. I must admit that she's pretty skilled and could possibly be as good as me when it comes to this game. Kids nowadays are getting smarter and better. I think I have to brush myself up lest they overtake me soon, hahaha.

Ok, an additional picture because I exceeded the time while blogging this post.

This was taken during my reunion dinner in 2009. There were papers of lucky numbers hidden inside the fortune cookie given by the 'God of Fortune' during the dinner. We had our dinner at Swissotel Merchant Court at Clark Quay area. The food was good, especially the durian pudding. We had a great meal and a great time. The only 'not so good' thing was that the numbers didn't came out during the weekend. Haha..

Thats all for today. Stay tuned for more updates.

Cheers~

Pictures for 010311

Once again, I have missed the time. Although it may sound like an execuse, I think I should still explain. This week is going to be a very busy week for me. We doing some collective planning for some upcoming event and everyone is giving their all so as to make sure the event to be a resounding success. Since everyone is giving their best, its natural to be working late. Not that we are inefficient, but there is really too much to plan.
Enough said, first picture for 010311:

This is the view of the Batam resort I went in 2009. I took this from my unit at the highest level during the second night. I happened to went out to the balcony to get some fresh air when I saw this view. I quickly took my camera and snapped a few pictures of it. Personally, I find this view very beautiful and it relaxes my mind. This was also the reason why I chose to go Batam for the holiday, so as to relax and rejuvenate myself.

Overall, the trip was relaxing and fun. I had a good time with my loved one during this short vacation of ours. Pure relaxation. I would recommend this to all those reading my blog. If you are interested you can drop me an email. My friend operates a travel agency and this trip was recommend by her. I could hook you up if you want to.
Here is the second picture:

This was taken during my 2009 trip to Kuala Lumpar. Although things did not went well with this trip, it did leave some good memories for me. The donuts that I had was the world famous 'Krispy Kreme'. I must say that it was the best donuts that I have ever eaten in my life. And it is the kind of donuts that I'll be willing to queue up for it. I'm sure many people will do the same. Unfortunately, this brand of donuts is not available in Singapore. I only know Kuala Lumpur, Melbourne and Hong Kong has it. Hopefully there will be one branch in Singapore soon.

Picture for the day:

This was taken in 2003 during our poly graduation. It was the day of our graduation and we went to Suntec city to have a good meal in the evening. I think it was also the first time that we had an outing as a class. Back then, there wasn't many choices to go as the amount of shopping malls weren't that many. We went to pizza hut and had our fill and the restaurant was also filled with our laughter and joy.

Each have gone their own way after graduation. I haven been in contact with most of them since then. But then, it was also this group that I found my best friends. Maybe its because my best friends have chosen the same career paths as myself. Every once in a while we still meet up for dinner or chill out sessions. Although it has been lesser recently since one of them has married and the other proposed.

Nevertheless, I would say that at different points of your life, there will be different sets of memories created. Although my poly days were not the most beautiful memories, it stills remains as part of my life as it was also the most important period of my life where I became more independent and sociable. Perhaps I will let you more into my life before poly days in the further posts.

Picture of the day:

This was taken in 2008 during my brother's ROM on the Singapore Flyer. The Singapore Flyer had just opened its doors and my brother was one of the lucky ones to be able to book a capsule for his ROM. The view on top was indeed spectacular. Although it could be better without the construction works. I think it would look alot better now since Marina Bay Sands have been completed.

Anyway, the 2 pink pens that I was holding was the pens that my brother used to seal his fate. If you look closely you will see that each pen end was a pig. It is used to signify both my brother and my sister-in-law. I can understand why the pig was used to signify my brother (his size) but my sister-in-law? I wonder.

Very seldom you will be able to see me in a shirt, with my hair nicely waxed, since I'm not the type who is really concerned about how I looked. But since it was my brother's big day, I was dressed to the nines and even had my hair waxed for him. Luckily, there was no need for me to put on make up for the occasion.

Although the idea of having the solemnisation in a capsule onboard the flyer was a pretty cool idea, it was actually quite boring. Imagine you only have a 5 x 5 metre area to walk around, and going 2 rounds takes about 1hr 30 mins. Of course, the number of people you can bring up is also limited to 25 pax. Minus away the family members, you can only bring up around 5 friends?

All in all, although the cramp space, we did managed to have a good time and enjoyed some good finger food that was for the session. We did took quite abit of pictures too. But end of the day, the whole session was about my brother. I wish them all the best and stay happily ever after.

Cheers~
